Amethyst Tower with Rainbows | Polished Purple Quartz Crystal Point | Third Eye Crown Chakra Stone
Amethyst Tower with Rainbows | Polished Purple Quartz Crystal Point | Third Eye Crown Chakra Stone
Amethyst towers with that gorgeous deep purple color and visible rainbow inclusions catching light from inside the crystal. We love these because the rainbows aren't just sparkles on the surface - they're internal optical effects from natural fractures inside the quartz that act as tiny prisms, splitting light into color bands as you turn the tower. Each tower is intuitively chosen for strong color and visible rainbows.
The geology: Amethyst is a purple variety of quartz colored by trace iron and natural irradiation over geological time. It belongs to the same mineral family as Smoky Quartz (also irradiated quartz), Citrine, and Clear Quartz - they're all silicon dioxide with different impurities and exposure histories. The internal rainbow inclusions you see in these towers are completely natural - tiny internal fractures or healing planes that act as prisms when light hits at the right angle. Mohs hardness 7. Major sources include Brazil, Uruguay, Madagascar, Russia, and Zambia.
What you'll get:
- One intuitively chosen Amethyst tower with visible rainbows
- Polished smooth with pointed top - approx. 2" high
- Strong purple coloring and clear internal rainbow effects
- Mohs hardness 7
About the tower shape: the pointed shape is traditionally said to direct energy upward in crystal grid work, making towers popular for meditation altars and intention-setting setups. The pointed top + flat base also makes them stand stably for display without needing a special holder.
In crystal traditions, Amethyst is one of the most well-known and beloved crystals in any tradition. It's most often associated with the third eye and crown chakras and is described in lore as supporting spiritual clarity, intuition, meditation focus, dream work, and connection to higher consciousness. It's the traditional birthstone for February. The rainbow inclusions are sometimes described as adding an extra layer of joy and spiritual amplification.
Heads up: prolonged direct sunlight can fade Amethyst's purple color over time - display in indirect light for longevity.
