The geology: Flower Agate is a chalcedony found exclusively in Madagascar. The pink-to-peach coloring and those characteristic flower patterns are mineral crystallizations that grew inside the agate in branching shapes as it formed. It's a relatively recent addition to the crystal world, discovered and named within the last decade or so.
