Crazy Lace Agate Tumbled Stone | Mexican Banded Agate Crystal | Laughter Stone | Pocket Crystal Gift

Crazy Lace Agate Tumbled Stone | Mexican Banded Agate Crystal | Laughter Stone | Pocket Crystal Gift

Crazy Lace Agate tumbles with the wild swirling patterns this stone is famous for. We love how no two are alike - some lean creamy white with caramel banding, others are bolder with reds, golds, and grays all twisting together. The patterns really do look like jumbled lace, which is exactly how it got the name.

A bit of geology: Crazy Lace Agate is technically a banded chalcedony (microcrystalline quartz) infused with iron and aluminum, which creates all those colors. It only forms in one place in the world - the Chihuahua region of northern Mexico. The wild swirly patterns happen because the stone formed about 65 to 90 million years ago during massive geological shifts at the end of the dinosaur era. So you're holding a piece of legitimately ancient earth history.

What you'll get:
- One intuitively chosen Crazy Lace Agate tumble
- Polished smooth, glossy finish
- Approximately 1 to 1.5 inches
- Mohs hardness 6.5 to 7

In crystal traditions, Crazy Lace Agate is called the Laughter Stone or Happy Lace, and it is said to bring joy, lighten heavy moods, and encourage you not to take yourself too seriously. It's tied to Mexican fiestas and dancing in some lore. Whether you're into that or just love how it looks, this is a stone with personality.

Heads up: bright pink, blue, or purple Crazy Lace Agate you sometimes see is dyed. Real Crazy Lace stays in earthy colors - creams, browns, grays, golds, with occasional natural reds. Ours is the real deal.
