Honesty note: this material is often sold as "Blue Onyx," but true Onyx is banded chalcedony (silicon dioxide). This stone is genuinely Calcite - calcium carbonate (CaCO3) - and "Lemurian Aquatine Calcite" is a trade name, not a separate mineral. It's mined in Argentina, giving it that aqua-blue-teal palette not seen in Calcite elsewhere. Soft stone (Mohs 3), handle gently.
